Many of my clients come to therapy with a profound intellectual grasp of their lives, yet find that simply 'knowing' their history hasn't changed how they actually feel. You might be an expert at analysing your challenges, but find yourself feeling 'stuck' in your head or disconnected from your internal world.
My approach is designed to bridge this gap. I work beyond traditional talk therapy by focusing on the translation of experience. By moving between spoken dialogue and sensory metaphor, we bypass the limits of purely logical discussion. This allows us to reach the parts of your story that words alone often cannot access—facilitating a deeper, more integrated sense of self.
Navigating life between cultures brings a unique weight to the therapeutic process. I provide therapy in English, German and Spanish, honouring the intersection of language, identity, and the complexities of relocation.
Grounded in specialist international and NHS experience, my practice is trauma-informed and restorative. By incorporating sensory elements alongside traditional dialogue, we address the mechanisms of dissociation and the emotional 'blockages' that arise when we have spent too much time over-intellectualising our pain.
As an LGBTQ+ therapist, I offer an identity-affirming space where you are understood, rather than merely 'accepted'. I work with the specific psychological patterns of queer and neurodivergent individuals, focusing on reclaiming authenticity and safety in both professional and personal life.
